  • Baby Gems: 2-3.5
  • Tiny Twinkles: 3-5
  • Sparkles Level 1: 5-7
  • Crystals Level 2: 7-9
  • Rubies Level 3: 9-11
  • Sapphires Level 4: 10-12
  • Emeralds Level 5: 12-15
  • Diamonds Level 6: 15 -18

Dance Class Attire & Shoe Guide

To help you feel confident and move comfortably, here’s what to wear for each dance style we offer:

Ballet

  • Wardrobe: Leotard, tights, ballet skirt (optional). Fitted dancewear helps with movement and technique.
  • Shoes: Ballet slippers (canvas or leather).

Jazz

  • Wardrobe: Leggings, fitted shorts, or jazz pants with a tank top or leotard.
  • Shoes: Jazz shoes or dance sneakers.

Hip-Hop

  • Wardrobe: Loose-fitting athletic wear (sweatpants, joggers, t-shirts). Comfort and flexibility are key!
  • Shoes: Clean, non-marking sneakers (only worn in the studio).

Tap

  • Wardrobe: Comfortable dancewear (leggings, jazz pants, fitted top). Avoid long, flowy pants that cover the feet.
  • Shoes: Tap shoes.

Contemporary / Lyrical

  • Wardrobe: Fitted dance-wear (leggings, leotards, dance tops). Layers should be easy to move in.
  • Shoes: Barefoot, socks, or lyrical half-soles.

Acro / Tumbling

  • Wardrobe: Leotard with fitted shorts or leggings. No loose clothing for safety.
  • Shoes: Barefoot.
